East End Gateway 2 & 3

East End Gateway Sites 2 and 3, totaling 1.16 acres, are located at the northwest and southwest corners of 16th and O Streets. The sites are considered to be a prime commercial location within the Downtown/Midtown Sacramento area and well suited for a tranist-oriented development given the close proximity to light rail, several high-rise office buildings, hotels, the State Capitol, and the State’s East End Office Complex.East End Gateway 2 and 3 is inspired by Andalusian architecture of southern Spain, and the elegant interpretation of Spanish Architecture found in Monterey California. Prominent features of the project are the two corner towers, one capped with a blue/green mosaic tile dome and the other with classic Spanish detailing. It is envisioned that the street level retail / restaurant uses will be filled with activity with the residents of the neighborhood creating a sense of place that is safe and vibrant. The arched openings along the building’s base provide an inviting feel that opens up the interior building to the public. The sidewalks will blend into these openings and be used for outdoor seating for the restaurant uses.

The sites will include 84 market rate rental units and 93 parking spaces, with 12,918 square feet of ground floor retail. All of the residential unit will have 10′ ceiling heights with laminated synthetic wood planks in the common area and carpeting in the private bedrooms. Kitchens will have high quality appliances, granite counter tops, and high-grade wood cabinetry.
