Bacon Fest Sacramento (BFS) has arrived! All you bacon lovers out there can rejoice and get your bacon fix. Bacon Fest is here from January 19 – 26 and is all about pork from pigs who lived healthy, happy lives at farms that value ethical and sustainable food production.
All the bacon and pork dishes enjoyed at BFS events are house-made by Sacramento chefs that truly care about quality natural foods.
The inaugural BFS went down in January 2012 and other events such as The BLT Bike Crawl and Bacon Fest vs. Sacramento Beer Week soon followed.

Special bacon-themed three-course dinner, offering “salt for the soul,” this special menu begins with a warm bacon & belly salad offset by wild mushrooms and a truffle vinaigrette, followed by a mouth-watering bacon stuffed pork loin, bacon braised greens, and bacon stuffed potato.
And if this savory meal doesn’t have you booking a trip to the cardiologist yet, the simply bacon dessert certainly will.
The Firehouse Restaurant
An ode to a traditional favorite, The Firehouse has infused its Tennessee Eggnog with a sweet and savory twist of bacon. Using a base of Gentleman Jack Whiskey; Maple Syrup, Buttershots Liqueur, and house-made bacon ice cream are then folded in to create a delightfully creamy blend. Topped off with a rim of brown and white sugar and garnished with a single slice of bacon floating perfectly in the center, this is an irresistible cocktail anytime.
