For more than a decade, Marilyn’s has been Sacramento’s premier live music nightclub. On Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights you can enjoy both local and national touring acts. Some of the biggest recording artists enjoy playing at Marilyn’s instead of the big stage venues, because of the friendly, intimate atmosphere, and because Marilyn’s has the best sound and acoustics in town (ask Huey Lewis, James Hunter, Maria Muldaur, Michelle Shocked, …).
Tuesdays are Open Mic nights, where new acts get a chance to play at a ‘real’ club. Thursdays are Live Band Karaoke nights, where you can be a rock star on stage with an actual band of professionals backing you up – a Marilyn’s exclusive! Located below street level, Marilyn’s also features an outdoor garden and fountain area that is Sacramento’s downtown Urban Oasis.
