This week the City of Sacramento hosted the Mayor’s Institute on City Design (MICD). The MICD experts have been touring Sacramento’s JKL corridor, examining current development projects planned for that area and meeting with stakeholders and the public throughout downtown.
The primary focus of MICD is to consider how the JKL corridor can become a more desirable district, utilizing sustainable best practices and design solutions from other successful downtowns throughout the country while meeting the local community’s needs.
Tomorrow the group will present its findings during a public meeting at Noon – 1:00 pm at City Hall. This meeting is open to the public, and all downtown stakeholders are encouraged to attend.Watch the meeting live online at http://ow.ly/3XJu6.
The Downtown Sacramento Partnership will be in attendance, and we hope that you will be too!
