The Creamery at Alkali Flat

The structures on the former site of Crystal Cream and Butter Co. have been demolished and have been replaced by a community project that includes 122 tri-level, contemporary homes and approximately 8.5 acres of residential space in the area between D, E, 10th and 11th streets. The Creamery at Alkali Flat project includes oversized two-car garages, three neighbor-friendly paseos, a ¼ acre “bark park” recreation area created exclusively for residents and pets, on site private guest parking, a community garden, and optional rooftop patios to enjoy impressive views of the Sacramento skyline.

This project also increases on-street parking supply by converting the existing parallel parking to angle parking along the frontage and surrounding streets. The Creamery development is said to be a $18.9 million project.
