Warm Up Winter with a Peppermint Mocha and Some Bûche de Noël from Estelle’s Patisserie

Winter is synonymous with holidays, skiing & ice skating, and cold weather. I’m not one to enjoy the cold too much so I take pleasure in the little things that warm me up. A great cup of hot chocolate usually does it for me, or better yet something new like a peppermint mocha from Estelle’s Patisserie. If you go in on a Friday you can pair your festive mocha with a freshly baked doughnut, made only on Fridays.

Estelle’s is a charming, warmly lit French bakery & espresso bar that is dedicated to quality in the heart of Downtown Sacramento. You can tell by the delicious smell when you walk in that all of their baked goods are made daily on site using fresh ingredients.

They also have holiday treats that are just too cute to resist. Like the Bûche de Noël, a traditional dessert served in France around Christmas. This chocolate roll cake with macaroons on top is a great treat to bring home for the family or indulge in with friends.

If you’re not into chocolate as much as I am, you can divulge into the decadent strawberry chiffon cake decorated with charming characters made from delicious berries and candy.

Visit Estelle’s on The Kay on the corner of 9th Street any day of the week.

Open Monday – Wednesday 7 am – 7 pm
