Start by visiting our Women Inspire exhibit to discover the stories of more than 250 Golden State women who inspired change and reflect on the ongoing struggle for equality from the 1700s to present. Next, visit Our War Too: Women in Service, a groundbreaking special exhibit honoring the nearly 350,000 American women who answered the call to serve their country during World War II. This temporary exhibit from the National WWII Museum explores the efforts, struggles, and accomplishments of these servicewomen, the impacts of which extend into the present day.

Then explore the rest of the Museum together to find stories of inspiring women in every exhibit!
