Earthquakes to Epidemics: Disasters Past and Present explores the impact of natural and man-made disasters and epidemics across the Golden State, with a look at recent and historic disasters.

Learn about major events including the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake which brought Game 3 of the World Series to a halt, the 2018 Camp Fire that scorched the town of Paradise, and of diseases from cholera to Covid-19.

Discover how many disasters, epidemics, and pandemics inspired positive changes within our communities. Earthquakes to Epidemics runs through April 20th.

This exhibit is free with museum admission.
