Alyssa Erickson unveils her debut collection of paintings at the Atrium. Meet the artist with an exclusive interview and sip complimentary wine at this free event in Old Sacramento.
From mythical fairy figures to iconic regional architecture, explore Sacramento’s midtown through a new perspective. Local painter, Alyssa Erickson, will debut her collection of paintings in her first solo exhibition opening April 4th.
Living in midtown, Erickson enjoys scenic walks and has been inspired by the magical elements of nature. Colorful fae portraits complement detailed scenes of midtown Victorian homes. Enjoy an idyllic ode to Sacramento – with a magical twist.
All materials included in the making of this exhibit have been upcycled. Each canvas was found and reclaimed, and the eco-conscious use of paint ensured there was no waste. In the spirit of April being Earth month, every day is Earth Day at the Atrium.
During the opening reception, the artist will be present for questions, with complimentary wine. The gallery has floor-to-ceiling accordion french doors that open to the patio, creating an indoor/outdoor setting.
The exhibition runs from April 4th until June 1st.
